In 1989, Jeddah Cables Co. embarked on a journey that would redefine the landscape of the cable industry in Saudi Arabia and beyond. From our humble beginnings, we set out to not only meet but exceed the evolving demands of a dynamic and rapidly advancing world.
Today there are four major plants having a combined annual capacity of more than 100,000 metric tons, and close to 1700 employees.
Our commitment to innovation reached a monumental milestone with the introduction of the first VCV (Vertical Continuous Vulcanization) 130-meter-high tower in KSA to produce EHV power cables up to 500kV —a testament to our dedication to pioneering technology and manufacturing processes. This milestone marked the inception of a legacy characterized by excellence, reliability, and a relentless pursuit of cutting-edge solutions.
JCC has also heavily invested in acquiring the most capable High Voltage and Extra-High Voltage testing facilities and laboratories including its 500 Kilo-Volt Full Type-Test Laboratory at international standards, which is unique in the whole MENA region, to continuously offer its customers highly reliable products. it's a symbol of our readiness to embrace the future.
In addition, JCC is one of the few regional companies which are vertically integrated to produce its own basic raw materials such as: Copper & Aluminum Rods, Cable Reels and Plastics Compounds.
