Distribution Automation

Information

The TIPI is a low‑voltage distribution panelboard designed for integration into public MV/LV distribution substations. It provides reliable supply and protection for public networks operating at 400 VAC and 50 Hz. The assembly comprises a main circuit, including an incoming unit and a busbar system, as well as outgoing feeders dedicated to public distribution. Role and Features The TIPI plays a key role in the low-voltage electrical distribution chain, ensuring safe, flexible and continuous operation. Safe: equipped with a four‑pole switch‑disconnector (3 phases + neutral) with high breaking performance, enabling fast and complete isolation of the installation. Flexible: outgoing feeders are fully interchangeable. Each unit protects the phases with fuses and manages the neutral via a disconnecting bar, allowing maximum flexibility during maintenance and reconfiguration. Service continuity: Integrated solutions for generator set back‑feeding ensure uninterrupted power supply during network outages or planned operations. Performance and Reliability The TIPI is deisgned to comply with Enedis specifications and meet the requirement of standards IEC 61439‑1, IEC 60947‑3, and IEC 61269‑1, ensuring long‑term, reliable and safe operation. Designed and manufactured in France, the TIPI features high‑quality assembly that enhances long-term durability. Its IP2X protection rating ensures operator safety during live operations. Modularity and Adaptability Available in several configurations, the TIPI offers a scalable design that adapts to evolving network requirements. The 4‑500 type supports up to 4 outgoing feeders plus a temporary one, while the 8‑1200 and 8‑1800 types accept up to 8 outgoing feeders plus a temporary one. To maintain service continuity on the public distribution network, outgoing feeders can be connected or removed safely under load.
