MI 3290 Earth Analyser
Earthing
Information
The MI 3290 Earth Analyser is a portable test instrument, powered either by battery or mains, with excellent IP protection (IP54 with the case open). It is designed for measuring earth resistance, specific earth resistance, and earth potential on a wide range of energized and non‑energized objects.
Users can choose between several measurement methods—from the classic 3‑wire earth resistance method to the one‑ or four‑clamp method for measuring pylons. Multiple frequency‑based methods are available, including single‑frequency, frequency sweep from 55 Hz to 15 kHz, the HF method at 25 kHz, and a pulse method simulating lightning strikes.
Its high immunity to electrical noise makes the instrument particularly well suited for industrial environments. The MI 3290 is available in multiple sets, each combining different accessories and measurement functions to accommodate various application needs.
