MI 6601 MediTest

The MI 6601 MediTest is Metrel’s new tester for verifying the electrical safety of medical equipment in accordance with the IEC/EN 60601 standard at any stage of the medical equipment life cycle. It is accurate enough for development work, provides detailed measurements for type testing, can be integrated into a production line, and is portable enough for recurrent testing in accordance with IEC/EN 60601 or IEC/EN 62353. In addition, it supports fault diagnosis in service departments and can be used for on‑site troubleshooting. The MI 6601 MediTest can operate as a stand‑alone tester in the field, without the need for a PC or laptop. For office and laboratory environments, it can be used together with the Metrel Medical Electrical Safety Manager (MMESM), which supports the creation and execution of test sequences in accordance with IEC/EN 60601 as well as asset management. Reports are generated using the integrated online services Metrel Cloud Reports and Metrel Cloud Storage. Compliance with IEC/EN 60601 is a widely accepted global benchmark and a requirement for the commercialization of electrical medical equipment.
