The MI 3215 TeraOhmHP 15 kV is a high‑power, portable test instrument powered by either battery or mains, featuring excellent IP protection (IP65). It is designed for analysing insulation resistance using high DC test voltages of up to 15 kV. Thanks to its robust CAT IV measuring category and high immunity to radiated electromagnetic fields, it is ideally suited for demanding industrial environments. Operation is simple and intuitive: users can navigate through the menu‑driven LCD using either the touch screen or physical keys, enabling easy selection of measurement methods and straightforward data entry. The newly designed test leads include coded banana connectors that ensure correct connection and incorporate a locking mechanism to prevent accidental or unwanted disconnection.
