The FRAKO HPQ is a hybrid system combining a conventional detuned power factor correction (PFC) unit with a modern active harmonic filter. The detuned PFC unit compensates large amounts of capacitive reactive power, while the active harmonic filter takes care of intermediate stages and inductive reactive power.
