Transformer Dissolved Gas-in-Oil Monitoring System(PAS-DGA)

Information

PAS-DGA is a dissolved gas analysis (DGA) system that utilizes photo-acoustic spectroscopy (PAS) technology. The on-line monitoring technology for dissolved gas components in transformer oil can detect possible defects or performance degradation inside the equipment at an early stage, providing judgment basis for the operation and maintenance of transformers and improving power supply reliability. Traditional on-line chromatographic analysis methods are complex in operation, cumbersome in procedures, long in monitoring cycle, and high in later maintenance costs, prone to false alarms or missed alarms. As the second-generation on-line monitoring technology for dissolved gas in oil, photoacoustic spectroscopy has higher measurement accuracy and efficiency, good repeatability and economy, and the minimum lower limit of C₂H₂ exceeds the national standard of 0.5μL/L. The on-line monitoring equipment using photoacoustic spectroscopy as the detection method is more advanced, easier for daily maintenance, and lower in comprehensive cost, representing the future development trend of on-line monitoring of dissolved gas and micro-water in transformer oil. The system consists of an oil circuit system, an oil-gas separation device, a gas delivery device, a photoacoustic spectrum monitoring device, a system host and a software background. It can perform high-precision quantitative analysis on various gases dissolved in transformer oil, and monitor the operating status of large-scale oil-filled power equipment such as transformers in real time. The unique software expert database data diagnosis and analysis function can timely judge the status of the monitored equipment and predict equipment failures.
