ELR-6MS Earth Leakage Relay for Mining

Blue Jay ELR-6MS is a dedicated high-reliability earth leakage relay exclusively engineered for underground and surface mining sites, specially matched with mobile trailing cable mining equipment. Built on microcontroller core, it integrates dual core protection modes including ground fault detection and pilot wire ground resistance check, and supports multiple zero-sequence CT ratios (40:1, 600:1, 1000:1). Adopting standard DIN 35 rail mounting and wide 90–240V AC/DC universal power supply, it withstands harsh mining temperature from -40°C to +60°C and effectively avoids frequent nuisance tripping caused by complex mining power environments. This mining-specific earth leakage relay delivers dual safety barriers for mining operators and machinery: it detects 10–500mA ground leakage with adjustable trip delay up to 10s to cut electric shock risks, while the pilot wire ground check circuit with Zener diode terminator monitors continuity of equipment grounding loop and trips immediately if the ground cable breaks. It provides independent main trip, ground fault and ground check relay outputs with high contact capacity, plus RS485 communication for remote monitoring. It eliminates hidden dangers like broken grounding wires and insulation leakage of mining mobile equipment, complying with mining electrical safety standards.
