RAPTOR CLAMP™ Diverter

RAPTOR CLAMP™ Diverter is a wildlife protection solution designed to increase the visibility of overhead power lines and help reduce bird collisions with distribution conductors and cables. Its highly visible design helps utilities improve wildlife protection while supporting safer overhead power distribution. The diverter features a secure clamp-style design that grips the conductor and remains in position under wind and line movement. Its large yellow flapper increases conductor visibility and moves with the wind to attract the attention of birds. Reflective tape further improves visibility during low-light periods such as dusk and dawn. Designed for efficient installation, RAPTOR CLAMP™ Diverter uses a simple “bump and snap” mechanism that can be installed by hand or hotstick without requiring special tools. UAV-based installation options are also available for suitable overhead line applications. The diverter is manufactured with UV-stabilized materials for outdoor use and incorporates corrosion-resistant stainless-steel hardware. It accommodates cables ranging from approximately 0.10 to 1.75 inches (2.54 to 44.45 mm) in diameter, supporting a wide range of distribution line configurations.
