The 15 kV, 200A Bushing Insert (15-LBI200) is a medium-voltage separable connector designed for ANSI/IEEE loadbreak applications. It threads onto a standard 200A bushing well to create the functional equivalent of an integral loadbreak bushing and can be replaced in the field without removing the transformer or connected apparatus from service.
The insert is used with compatible 200A bushing wells on transformers and other electrical equipment, providing a separable interface for medium-voltage cable connections. It forms part of a loadbreak system when used with a compatible loadbreak elbow.
The 15-LBI200 can be installed by hand or with a torque tool. An internal hex broach supports torque-tool installation when required, simplifying field installation and maintenance.
Its replaceable design allows the bushing insert to be serviced independently, helping reduce the need to replace the complete integral bushing assembly. This makes it suitable for utility distribution networks, underground distribution systems, transformer connections and compatible switchgear applications.
