The EDMP Magno range is a comprehensive portfolio of smart electricity meters designed for residential, commercial, industrial, transformer and distribution applications. Available in single-phase and three-phase direct-connected, CT and CT/VT configurations, Magno meters deliver high measurement accuracy, with active-energy accuracy classes ranging from Class 1.0 to Class 0.5S, depending on the model.
The range is designed in accordance with key international standards, including IEC 62052, IEC 62053 and the IEC 62056 DLMS/COSEM communication suite. Selected models also support STS prepayment, IDIS interoperability and relevant EN and SANS requirements.
Magno meters provide advanced functions such as multi-tariff and time-of-use measurement, load profiling, event recording, tamper detection, demand monitoring, remote connection and disconnection, and local or remote firmware upgrades. Flexible communication options—including RF Wi-SUN, G3-PLC, optical, RS-485 and cellular technologies, subject to configuration—enable seamless integration with AMI and meter data management platforms.
