The EDMP Mega range is a high-accuracy electricity metering platform engineered for substations, transmission and distribution networks, large commercial facilities and demanding industrial applications. Available in CT/VT configurations, Mega meters provide Class 0.2S active-energy accuracy and Class 0.5S reactive-energy accuracy, delivering dependable measurement for billing, network monitoring and energy management.
The range complies with key international standards, including IEC 62052, IEC 62053, IEC 62056 DLMS/COSEM, IEC 61850 and IEC 62059. Power-quality variants support advanced monitoring in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30, with Class S or Class A capabilities depending on the selected model.
Mega meters measure energy, demand, power factor, frequency, phase angles and voltage and current total harmonic distortion, with harmonic analysis up to the 50th order. Power-quality models provide deeper visibility into voltage dips, swells, interruptions, transients, flicker, harmonics and interharmonics.
Advanced functionality includes time-of-use billing, programmable load profiles, event and fraud detection, power-quality event recording, and clock accuracy of up to 0.5 seconds per day. Plug-and-play communication options include optical, RS-485, RS-232, Ethernet, cellular and Bluetooth, with support for DLMS/COSEM, IDIS Package 3 and IEC 870-5-102.
